To view the virtual tours on this site, you need to download and install QuickTime. The QuickTime Player is a free download. The installation puts a series of files in your operating system and a plug-in in your browser. There are two ways to install QuickTime. To begin, click on the "Get QuickTime" logo below to take you to the right place on Apple's website [http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download]. Method 1. Once you are at the Apple web address shown above, choose your operating system, enter your details [if you wish to] and click on "Download QuickTime". You will then download a small file [about 380KB]. After this file is uncompressed [which happens automatically on most standard machines] you double-click to run it. This program then connects you with the QuickTime download site, asks you what level of QuickTime you need, then downloads it and installs it for you. The Minimum set of QuickTime components is about 4.3 MB in size. The Minimum set is all you need to view this site. Method 2. Go to the Apple web address shown above, then click on "QuickTime Standalone Installer". Choose your operating system and enter your details [if you wish to] and then click on "Download QuickTime". You will then download the entire QuickTime installer [about 10 to 19MB, depending on your OS]. After this file is uncompressed [which happens automatically on many standard machines] you double-click to run it. Mac systems will mount a disc image on the desktop; just treat it like a new disc. The installer then asks you what level of QuickTime you need, then installs it for you. Remember, to view this site, you only need the Minimum QuickTime. You don't need to choose Full or Authoring, or pay for the Pro version of the player.
